The Department of Employment and Industrial Relations provides services that ensures safe, fair and productive work environments which contribute to the social and economic wellbeing of Queenslanders. The department includes Workplace Health and Safety, and the Electrical Safety Office.
The Department of Public Works is the leader of the Queensland Governments capital works building program and helps build and maintain public facilities such as schools, public housing, hospitals, police stations, and courthouses that serves Queenslanders.
